The regulations have induced some questions due to the fact that the universal domain name extension is the only one that specifies what devices has to be able to access a website and the way in which this needs to happen, breaking the so-called principles of device independence, according to which a site should be built in such a way as to be accessed by the majority of web browser applications and devices, be they mobile or stationary.
